Subscriptions require an account with a minimum of the following information: name, email, address, phone number, username, and password. We use this information solely for the purposes of providing to you our services and products. Additionally, we might also send emails or text-messages with updates to our products, services, and other occasional announcements where you have chosen to receive them.

For non-subscription holders, the minimum information required is name, email, username, and password.

Purchases of individual items do not require an account. Subscriptions do require an account.

If you make a purchase, we collect the following information: name, address, phone number, email address, billing information including credit card number and expiration date, as well as the names, addresses and phone numbers of gift recipients (if any). We use your name, address, phone number and billing/credit card information to process your order, including retaining that informations for subscriptions.

We use your email address and/or phone number for most communications with you, and to track delivery of your subscription or the items you bought. We may also use your email or phone number to send updates or other notifications regarding Deft Coffee, your account, or your shipments. You can opt out of these by logging into your account, or contacting us directly (contact information can be found here.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Our site administrator can also see and edit that information.
