We have a Pinhalense very similar to yours and have been searching for a way to load the greens into the chambers. I noticed the rather excellent loading tray next to your machine and wondered if you could please tell me whether you made it or if it is are available somewhere to purchase? Thanks so much in anticipation. Kindest regards.
That tray came with the roaster. It kinda works but it’s really only deep enough for about 100g… more and they get caught at the front hole and either stop dumping in, or spill over the sides. Though it works great if you use it more like a deflector, and pour the beans onto it to load. (Does that make sense?) One nice thing about it though is that it has a bend in it near the narrow end to help funnel the beans into the drum. You can sort of see it in the third pic… Anyway, it’s bent sheet stainless… I’d bet you could fashion one in an afternoon…

Many thanks Dave. Yes, the deflector idea makes total sense. It sounds like a piece of sheet metal is indeed in order. Thank you again for the info :)
You are welcome. Good luck.
