As simple as that. They will be periodic, about once every month or two as there are major announcements to, uhh, announce (like when I am open for business). If you’d like to subscribe, email me at info@deftcoffee.com with “subscribe” in the subject line. You will get a confirmation email (part of the anti-spam system). Just reply to that and you will be all set up. The confirmation email is a manual process right now so please be patient, but it shouldn’t take more than a day for me to add you to the list.
thanks
I like how much attention you pay to the details of coffee roasting, for that is indeed where the devil lies. Do you think the natural disasters -hurricanes, floods, tsunamis- will have an affect on the coffee crops? Are you roasting any coffee to sell yet? If not, please let me know when you do & where I can get some! Thank you for your time & keep up the good work!
Sincerely,
Nicholas “Nick” Currie
Thanks…
I have not been paying close enough attention lately to the weather and what people are expecting… NOAA and the USDA publish a report regularly that in the Sept 2-8, 2007 stated that there is the possibility of flooding damage to coffee (and sugarcane and citrus) in Northern Veracruz. Pluma/Chiapas/Oaxaca is farther South than Veracruz by about 330 miles. Since it didn’t mention it, I would think that they are (right now) okay.
As for selling, I’m not yet. I think that I’m still a couple months away from that… but now that the Derby is over, I’ve been able to concentrate on getting everything together, though I need to gget back to posting… I will definitely let you know when that happens.
